Research and Policy Analyst (Part-Time)
Research and policy analysts have primary responsibility for maintaining visibility into the activities of state public utility commissions. Typically, researchers will be assigned a specific portfolio of utility commission based on defined procedures and protocols. Researchers prepare summaries of proceeding information for inclusion in the E9 Insight “radar” database. Online research will be often be supplemented with direct interviews with public utility commission staff, advisors and other stakeholders. The foundational expertise developed by each Researcher will be used to support additional research projects that may arise based on client needs. Research positions are part-time and typically customized to accommodate academic studies or other professional obligations.
Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information; flexibility and self-discipline.
Preferred: Direct experience in policy analysis; passion for clean electricity policy.
Office Manager and Assistant to the President
E9 Energy Insight seeks a creative and enthusiastic assistant to support the company through a period of growth, scaling and intensive customer engagements. The assistant will work directly with the company president and responsible for ensuring that critical operational systems are maintained and customer commitments are successfully delivered. Primary duties will include contact management; scheduling and travel logistics; office administration; client communications and general support of team operations. Flexibility, ingenuity and a sense of humor will be highly valued. Enthusiasm and experience with social media will also be highly valued. Experience or interest in environmental markets and clean energy welcomed. This position is part-time and based out of the E9 Insight offices at The Hub located in downtown Boulder, Colorado.
